Going in to work today. We have alot of work to do. Come tomorrow we have to move quick and hard. We have several month to get the project off and raise the money we need. The biggest question and challenge we have is Kyle. He is due back to school in LA in a cpl. weeks. But his music video is taking off. Also we are in one the most crucial part of making the film…raising money and pre-production. On the flip side his college education is mandatory. It’s hard to go back to college after you take time off… I’m living proof. Kyle feels he’s going to school to be where he’s at right now and these opportunity doesn’t come around too often. My wife is pushing for him to go back. My Dad thinks he should take off from school with a promise to finish. He made an analogy of a high school or college basketball star. He thinks in that situation injury lurks around the corner–and the opportunity may not come around again. I’m torn, because I know the importance of a college degree…it is required in today’s world. The fianl decision will be Kyle’s but he has to look at all sides.

We had to deal w/some YS headaches. Nonetheless we were able to finish shooting the DR TV show.
We found the AYS music video was posted on another music video website. Also a natioanl TV program based in NJ want to have us on their show. We are booked to come on this month. We need this type of publicity to get the word out on the project.

Well it’s my birthday and I’m coming in from out of town. Alot of people hit me up on Facebook, My Space, emails,texts…w/Birthday greetings. I appreciate the love.
I am getting older. Right now is my best years to do stuff big…. like the DR Project. I have my health and experiece. So now I am going to push harder than ever. I got a great call today from my old college friend, actor, producer Mike Jai White. He’ll be on th east coast week after next and we’re going to discuss some collaborations. I’m excited!

Trying to get out of the office to head to NYC for meeting. Denise and I went over DR TV script for taping tomorrow. Kyle finished up book brochure and sent it to printer. Lorraine is calling bookstores to ship off DR novel prom. material. My neice Tierney will start helping out tomorrow. She’s here for a week. Things are humming.

Yesterday we (kyle and I) had a good interview on 88.1. They also linked us up to their sister program in London. They want us to come back next Saturday for another interview.
Today was a crazy but good day. Kyle and I worked on promotional material for the book. I received a call tonight to meet some people in NYC tomorrow who has ties into Universal. Also I connected w/my old college and friend actor/producer Mike Jai White who is doing some big things in Hollywood. He may possibly on the east coast this week. We plan on meeting. I’m very proud of his accomplishments. He has worked hard for everything he has.

Worked on some outstanding DR stuff. Kyle is trying to hurry up and finish marketing material for the project. Kyle and I are going on 88.1 FM radio at 7:00 pm to promote the project.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays or whatever you celebrate today and this season! Today was a good day. I stayed home w/the family. After all the celebrating I was able to get some work in. I spoke to Fredro Starr and we discussed the project. He’s still excited to be apart of it. After the holidays he will work w/us closer to bring the project to fruition.

Yesterday was a good day overall. We still are putting together our investment/sponsorship pkgs. Mostly it’s in the hands of Kyle to give us a great look for the pkgs. In the menatime I am compiling list of potential sponsors and investors. Hopefully we can secure sponsors before we get deep into the whole investor’s journey.
Hip Promo Video featured Kyle and Natasha on their homepage as priority artists. I think this will be first step into consistent major nat’l recognition for them and the DR project.

Yesterday I met with my lawyers and cps in the morning. They have advised me to keep the movie under a profit entity. It simplifys the project. It made sense.
A investment agent I met in DC sent a MOU to myself and lawyers. We will be looking over. The key to me signing is the performance standards of the agent. Kyle, myself and Vanessa start banging out the sponsorship/investment material. I wanrt everything to be of the highest quality…visually and content wise.
We had a DR staff mtg. today. Things are starting to tighten up. I had phone conference w/my attorneys and a producer at Digital Palace-prodeuction co. We want them to come on as producers. We are setting up a mtg. after the New Year.
We met w/Kyle’s friend Tommy K. who lives in LA and was visiting CT. He is a young producer w/a multi-million dollar film in the works. Him and his partners have most of the money in escrow for their film. He will joining the DR project as our West Coast Rep. Next week he will be helping us secure more talent and distribution on the film. Things are coming together.

I will try to start doing the daily blogs in the beginning of the day now. There’s alot of work and I want to knock out my daily duties early.
I’ve been thinking alot lately of adding a 3D component to the DR movie. Making Diamond in 3D until he becomes good, he takes on a human look.I think it would be cool. I was inspired by a recent Tim Burton Alice In Wonderland commercial I saw on TV.
I have a big meeting w/my attorney’s and CPA today. We will be discussing business structure and the investment plan. It’s funny it seems like this project is 10% craft and 90% business. It’s an incredible learning process.
