Yesterday, myself, Shireal and Geannetta met with the promoters of Club 960. We worked out the details for the Black Dynamite after party.

Everything is moving super fast. The more success we have the more money it is costing us. Actually success is killing us. The sponsorship/investment team is going to have to step up quickly. Everything is in place we just need the resources. Having Mike Jai White attached had a million dollar value to the project. We just have to immediately turn it into funding. I’ve been in places like this before but with this team we can overcome our financial situation.

Today myself, Kyle and Paige hit up the local colleges with flyers and posters. Alot is riding on February 4th.

A tough day. A close family member got in some trouble today. The family was there for support. It was hard to work on things, but I have to remain focused no matter what and bounce back from anything.
We landed Club 960 as a the venue to do the after party for the Black Dynamite release. I picked up a mix tape from DJ Go Phenom to promote the DR project. It sounds good.
I received a call from one of the wealthiest men in Hartford. We will be setting up a meeting . He is working on his own film project. You never know what can happen. The key is positioning myself in the right spot.

A busy but good day. Trying to bring Mike in. We had a couple travel communication problems, but Debbie from Enchanted Destinations worked them out w/Mike’s people.
Shireal had meeting w/Newberry Comics re: Mike appearing there. It’s all good and they are posting the event on their national Facebook site.
I met with DJ Go Phenom of 93.7 and he will creating a DR mix tape for promotion. He will also promote the project on his network.
The open mike was a smash tonight. Winston has brought it to a new level. It was a great crowd. A nice variety of talent. We were able to start building a solid email list for DR and we sold books and new DR Backpacks.
Kyle has reached out to a well known up and coming actress to play the part of Mary. Her people are considering her for the part.

Each day gets faster and faster with breaking news everyday. If you’re on the team and you sleep the train will pass you by. Alot of work got done today. Denise and Kyle worked hard as they try to get an outstanding YS project behind us. Once this project is done. It will free up alot of time. Geannetta and I worked trying to get the sponsorship program to move forward. A new intern from CCC started today. He is a strong administrator and hope he keeps his enthusiasm up. We need strong administrators. Shireal locked down some more venues for Mike Jai White to appear. She also landed a front cover of a magazine in Chicago for me to be on. The article will focus on the DR project. It will be the March issue.
Debbie from Enchanted Destinations helped out locating a reasonably price ticket for Mike to fly in for the Black Dynamite event. Jaz called me from the Boys and Girls Club they will be ordering 30-50 DR books by next week. Things are forging ahead!

Curtis Robinson a supporter and one of my mentors just made historic news. The prostate cancer institute at St. Francis Hospital was just named after him. He is also a survivor of prostate cancer. This week he gave the hospital a gift of 1 million dollars. He is a living legend and understands life is about serving others. He is a blessed man.
Shireal secured Mike Jai White to go on WFSB (CBS) TV on February 4th to promote Black Dynamite and the Diamond Ruff Project.

Things are looking up!

A very good day. We had a great staff meeting. Everyone is excited and trying to make this DR project work. Shireal was able to lock an interview w/Mike Jai White on the Stan Simpson Show on FOX61.

Denise and Kyle are working diligently to get done w/a YS project that is taking alot of time away from DR. At the same time they are doing a bang up job on DR. I heard about a grant this morning. The deadline was due for today at 3:00p.m.With no exceptions. We had to shift gears quickly. It was Vanessa’s day off–but she worked on it and Geannetta wind up putting it together. We submitted at exactly 3:00 p.m.The team is good.
Mike Jai White did a radio interview for the “Black Dynamite” premiere with The Hartford Advocate today.
Geannetta and I focused on sponsorship strategies today. We have to hurry up and implement.
I received a call from a radio station in London today. They want to do an interview on the DR project. AThe streets are beginning to talk.

Paige and I went down to Hartford and shot the Marquee at Bloomfield Cinema that stated “Black Dynamite” will show on February 4th. The You Tube will focus on Mike’s Jai White’s connection to the project.
This week my focus will be sponsorship, working on promoting the “Black Dynamite” premiere and selling books.
At the same time I have to concentrate on HAFI and Y!S work that pays the bills. It’s a grind.

Last night at Young! Studios we have DR Open Mike and Gamer’s Video Club. Both events are open to the public. We had a unexpected visitor disrupt one of the events.I personally escorted him out the faciltyand had him arrested by Hartford Police. I am coming to terms with as we grow, no matter how positive we are negative forces will come in and try to disrupt our success. there is no escape. All we can do is be on our guard for unexpective negative and have a plan to get rid of it before it infects us. Also a key to dealing with is having smart positive, somewhat paranoid people w/instinct around.
Both events went off well after. Last night I can see the DR movement is definatly growing.

Today Kyle and I went by Bloomfield Cinema 8 and saw the “Black Dynamite” notice on the marquee. It was exciting. I can definatly see “Diamond Ruff” up there one day!

Myself, Shireal, and Denise had a productive mtg. with Tim owner of Bloomfield 8 Theaters regarding us hosting Mike Jai White’s film “Black Dynamite”. Th event will be a great vehicle to announce Mike will be starring in Diamond Ruff. The date for “Black Dynamite” will be Thursday, February 4th at 7:30p.m.
The production companies for the movie has sent all the marketing material for us to promote the film. They will also help us w/a campaign. I really enjoy working w/professionals on this level of the game… there’s no playing and everyone has drive.
