A long and busy day. We had a quick staff meeting so the team could work on putting together information for our fiscal paperwork. We had about 10 members attend the meeting today.
Geannetta and I met w/the FIM organizers today to review the event. We also discussed YS getting more involved to help bring the project to another level.
I’m looking forward in working on this project. It has great potential.

Although it’s a holiday, Kyle and I are still grinding. My twin sister Janis will be joining us a little later. I believe this is a major month for DR. So we have to go even harder now. At this point for me holidays are not as important as getting the work done. Like my son Kyle says “We work now and play later”!

Happy Birthday to my daughter Paige (turns 15)! I was able to work on some DR administrative early and spent most of the day celebrating my daughter’s birthday. I’m proud of the young lady she has become. Working on the DR project is cool but spending time with family is even cooler!

10:30 p.m. – We started off the morning early knocking out YS work shooting a commercial for US Senate hopeful Brian Hill.

After Kyle worked on doing some other YS work to free himself up to do some DR during the week.
My sister Janis came in to help work on DR admin and fiscal work to submit to potential funders.

A good but busy day. We spent most of the day getting administrative/fiscal DR paperwork in order. The things you hate to do the most will help elevate you to the next level.

A great day. Geannetta and I met w/some financial people who wanted to bring the DR project to reality. We have to put alot of paperwork together….alot of work.
Kyle and I went to the Burial Boys movie premiere. It was well attended. It was good to show the DR face at these events that promote CT film makers.

The first day of a very important month. I met w/my accountant to go over the fiscal details of DR. The key is positioning the the project finances for maximum success.
Geannetta and I were able to do some stratgic business planning for the DRP.

A good day. We had a good DR staff meeting. Cue opened up w/a positive Bible story that was inspirational to our DR journey/
Geannetta and I met with Hollywood Executive Producer Richard Hawley, who gave us some thoughts on the DR project. he is a very insightful and educated individual. I think he will be influential to this DR project.

A busy day. We spent alot of time cleaning up the offices and production space after a big FIM event. I got a call from a banker interested in DR. The buzz is out.

I met with Producer/Director Richard Hawley until 4:00 a.m. He has produced movie with A listers like Uma Thurman and Glen Close. We will be getting together next week to discuss Diamond Ruff.

I had a great breakfast meeting with Doug of Maverick Entertainment(distributors)we will be working together on DR and other Young Studios properties.
Today I will do my follow up w/contacts from the FIM.
